Enjoy an easy 40 minute hike to a smaller lake, and a bamboo raft ride to a beautiful coral cave.

Khao Sok is one of Thailand's most beautiful national parks, with lots of wildlife including hornbill, gibbons, wild elephants, bears and more. Our English speaking local guide can offer you the best opportunity to see these wild animals.

Itinerary

8am We will pick up from your hotel near Khao Sok National Park HQ area

We leave earlier than other tours so we can enjoy the lake for ourselves.

8.45am: Meet your local guide and at 9am we leave by longtail boat - on the way we enjoy sightseeing among beautiful limestone formations and stunning scenery on the lake.

Around 10.am we arrive at our floating rafthouse, check in and relax with a refreshing swim in the clear fresh water of the lake.
After a delcious lunch we start hiking to our cave around 2pm. First we take the boat a short way to the trailhead, and walk around 45 minutes to a smaller lake, where we cross the lagoon on a bamboo raft.
After a quick15 minute crossing, with beautiful scenery on the way, we hike about 300 meter to the cave entrance. Inside the cave we will see beautiful stalagmites and stalactites looking like coral. We we will explore the cave for around 20-30 minute. and then make our back to the bamboo raft and walk back to the boat.
At 4 pm we are back on boat for an evening safari. We cruise along the lake searching for animals and enjoy the cool afternoon.
By 5pm or so we are back at the rafthouse for kayaking and to enjoy the sound of nature.
By 6 pm we head back for a shower to get ready for a delicious Thai dinner.
After dinner we enjoy free time, take in the night sky and the silence, and get ready for bed

On our second morning, we enjoy an early morning safari from the longtail to see a beautiful sunrise and spot the animals as they start their day
We will be back to the rafthouse for breakfast

After breakfast we have some time for swimming and kayaking again if you like
We check out at around 10am to take the boat back to the pier. If there is time, your guide will take you to a private bay for a swim from the boat.

Your guide will explain the history of the area, and take you for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant
Finish the tour 1pm approx.

We like to be on time, but the schedule can be a bit flexible - you are on holiday, and it's an adventure - let's be curious and open-minded about what we may meet on the way... :)
